St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein & Utrecht, the Netherlands

After finishing medical school, I first specialised in Tropical Medicine and International Health. I worked in Malawi at St. Luke’s Hospital for two years (2012-2014). My position as a Principal Medical Officer entailed medical practice and management. When I came back to the Netherlands in 2014, I started my career in Emergency Medicine. I expect to finish the Emergency Medicine program in May 2019 and have developed a special interest in ultrasound, as well as in cardiology. I got engaged in the FOAM community about three years ago and hope to continue contributing as my experience grows. For my future career in Emergency Medicine I hope to find a job position which enables me to combine clinical work with management.
